There's a small family of bullfinches making its nest in the windowsill next to my bed. Pyrrhula pyrrhula normally aren't so social in the winter months, but these little ones seem to enjoy being high up. I've named the male bullfinch Dell after my grandda and the female Poppy for my cousin. I wish I had something to feed them--they eat seeds and berries--because I'm sure they're hungry. And their chicks will be laid in a couple of months from now.
